We have the great pleasure to announces the VI Kraków Workshop on Congenital Heart Defects which will be held in Kraków, Poland, Friday 31th of May and Saturday 1st of June, 2019 at the magnificent, historical Collegium Novum Auditorium of Jagiellonian University, one the oldest European universities founded in 1364, located in the heart of the old city of Krakow.
This year the Krakow Workshop will be organized together with our colleagues from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as a reflection of long friendship and cooperation between our institutions. It is the tradition that the our well-attended biennial meetings are held in a very open, relaxed and congenial atmosphere, typical for Genius Loci of Krakow, with many lively discussions among the international scientists, physicians, surgeons and other health care providers. The scientific faculty consists of world class specialists from both sides of Atlantic, but first of all of group of good friends. We cordially invite you to Krakow – a city of special significance to Poland, Europe and the entire world. With a history of more than a millennium, Krakow was the capital of the Polish kings and princes for over 500 years, and to this day is the seat of the oldest University and the heart of Polish culture and science. Krakow is the birthplace and workplace of many great Poles, including Polish Nobel laureates, and the bastion of independence and solidarity. With the more than 200,000 students, is considered a magnet for tourists, investors, artists, writers and scientists. The City is a special place of magic and inexpressible charm, atmosphere and outstanding cuisine.
